WEL currently has 30 member organisations, who in turn represent 247,000 subscribing members in Wales.

Membership provides a forum for discussion and an opportunity to present a united front to government and stakeholders on key issues common to environmental Non-Governmental Organisations. It also provides access to a network of contacts, support and joint-working opportunities.

Any environmental NGO working in Wales, whose principle purpose is complementary to the charitable objects of WEL, is welcome to apply for membership.
